Fourth of July Party Ideas
I hope all of us like to celebrate the Independence Day of America on 4th July. It is one day of the year when our patriotic sentiments arise automatically. If you would like to host a party on next 4th July, then here are some themes that you may opt for:
- Snap, Crackle and Pop Fourth of July Party: It will be a fun party for the kids. To set the tone of this party, first of all the invitations should make a popping sound. As far as party crafts and activities are concerned, you can make Alka Seltzer Rockets, popping packing bubbles, non-fire popping fireworks etc.
- Uncle Sam Party: Needless to say, for this party, the invitations should feature Uncle Sam pictures and the guests may also be asked to dress up like Uncle Sam.
- Fourth of July Picnic: An outdoor picnic on this day will be fun not only for the kids but for the adults as well. Bike parades, races etc. may be organized for the kids.
- Fourth of July Pool Party: If your home is equipped with a pool, then you can invite all your kiths and kins for a pool party. You can also arrange swimming races to add to the fun of your party.

Fourth of July Party Games
Games add to the excitement of all the parties and patriotic parties are no exception. Here are some interesting games that you may include in your party:
- Pin the Star on the Flag: Before the guests arrive, draw an American Flag on a board without the stars. Make several stars that will be used in the game. The guests should be blindfolded and then they are supposed to paste the stars at the right place on the flag. It will be much more fun, if you dress up the blindfolded guest in a large hat, blue jacket and beard like Uncle Sam.
- Find a Seat: Arrange a lot of chairs in a circle, but the number of chairs should be one less than the number of guests plating this game. Play the music. Till the music is played the guests are supposed to move around the chairs and as soon as the music stops, they have to find a seat for themselves. The one who is left out will be eliminated and again a chair will be removed. The one who will survive till last will be the winner.
For some more funfilled games, take a look at Independence Day.
So, next time you plan to throw a party on America’s Independence Day or for any other patriotic day, then try to incorporate the above themes and games in your party.
