Now it is time for the next important factor, The Food! That’s right… no party is ever complete without a mouthwatering food. In this case, the food has to be mouthwatering as well as spooky.
So follow these tips to turn your food into ghostly creatures! Oh I mean to say that edible creatures
- Oh my god, there’s a fly in my drink! — To bring in more excitement, you can freeze lots of ice cubes with edible “insects” inside, by filling a tray half full and freeze it. Then you can add some raisins, fill the rest of the way with liquid and re-freeze it.
- To add on more effect, you can fill a clean plastic household glove with some liquid (preferably lemonade), to create an eerie floating hand in your punch bowl. To secure the top of the glove, you can use rubber bands, leaving a little room for expansion. In order to pop up the lower end of the glove, you can use a small plastic dish and secure the end of the glove in the freezer. Freeze until solid. Then you can peel away the glove and float it in the punchbowl to add on that creepy feeling.
- To add a green glow in the cocktails, I would recommend that you should use colas (may be Mountain Dew or 7up) for your drinks as well as punches. Trust me, nothing else has quite the same green glow.
- If you want then you can use plastic light sticks as swizzle sticks, as these sticks will give the drinks an eerie, as well as a mysterious glow. For more tips, you can click on this link: Food Domain
Great Tricky Ideas
- You can place a few gummy worms in all the pudding cups. Place them over the edge to create a feeling as if they are trying to crawl over the rim.
- If you are planning to serve apples, then you can core and bake the apples and arrange the gummy worms in the cavity. How is it?
- Hairball Salad with Saliva Dressing:
You will require:
- 1 lg Ripe avocado
- 2 c Alfalfa sprouts
- 6 grated carrots
- Italian dressing
Directions:
Cut avocado into half and scoop out the extra pit. Now put the Scooped avocado in the bowl. Add sprouts to it. Mix properly with a fork. It is perfectly okay to leave some lumps. Keep the bowl aside. Place the grated carrots among the four bowls. Make small size hairballs from the avocado mixture and place them on top of carrots. Pour Italian “saliva” dressing over the top. It is ready!
Another spooky recipe can be:
Strained Eyeballs
